Sustainability Workshop
with
Franziska Weineis
On the 3rd
February, Mag. Franziska Weineiss visited our school for a sustainability
workshop, to teach us about sustainable development. Mag. Franziska Weineiss graduated
from the BG/BRG Judenburg in 2004 and worked mainly in environmental education
in projects in foreign countries like Australia, the United Arabian Emirates,
the Amazonas and Costa Rica.
We learned
about the sustainable development goals and the three pillars of
sustainability. We took part in interesting discussions and could see how much
waste our society really produces. The facts about earth and the environment
made all of us think twice, about what we really need for daily life. We also
talked about how we can act, to make our environment a bit better.
I think all
students learned something new and useful that day. All of us enjoyed the
workshop and we are looking forward into doing something nice for our
environment.
